Well, I wanted to post to let you all know how the meeting about the salary package went........NOT GOOD!They offered him 500.00 a week salary.Right now he makes 440.00.
They also said he needed to work 45 hours a week....he figured out that if he stayed how he was now and worked 5 hours overtime, he would make more than they are offering!Also, he had researched his EXACT position and on the lower end salary they should be paying him 30 to 35k.So he kinda feels like they are slapping him in the face somewhat.He has put his resume in at Medtronic(an orthopedic company)so we are hoping to hear back from them quickly.Needless to say he is very frustrated...we can't live off of that much with a 6 person family....anyway, pray that something comes so that he can quit at Signet and feel good about where he is working.Thanks for all the prayers....love to all. Sorry, I've been an absent blogger lately... my work computer crashed last week and it was a nightmare. I'm up and running again. Well, this update is frustrating. I can't believe they don't compensate their employees fairly. Wouldn't you like to see Tyson's boss try to live off what they pay him?! :) Anyway... We'll be praying that something opens up at Medtronic. And we haven't forgotten you either -- just busy but Tony'll get a plan together soon. He takes boards on the 17th-19th so he should have a lot more time after that.
