our hospital trip.....

Okay, before I get into the cute pictures of my babies, here is another one of my recent food creations,Isn't it cute?SUPER easy to make too!
So we got to the hospital for the boy's tubes at 9:30.The doctor was scheduled to be there at 11am.We got the boys all "suited" up and they were enjoying just laying and looking around at this new place.
They had all their vitals checked.....
Max getting checked...

After that the nurse brought them these little beanie kittens, which they enjoyed just cuddling...for a second.
But, by that time we had been there for an hour and they were done sitting and being quiet. They decided to throw the cats up in the air and try to catch them, and then used the trash can as a basketball hoop and the kittens as basketballs! It got a little crazy in our room!

They then gave us these masks to "practice' with. When we told the boys they were like Buzz Lightyear, they thought they were pretty cool!:)
It can also be used as a spy glass...

this was a couple minutes before being wheeled away.
They have NO idea whats about to happen. They both went back without any crying,They thought the bed that rolls was fun to ride on.The actual tubes only took about 10 minutes!

However, Max came out screaming..DADDY!!Over and over. He didn't want anyone to touch him but daddy. It took about 45 minutes for him to act like his normal self again.
Mitchell came out with no crying until he saw me, but even then it was just a whimper.I held him for about 45 minutes also and then it was like nothing ever happened. We took them out to lunch and home where they took a 2 hour nap! After it was all said and done we were at the hospital from 9:30 to 1:30!A really long day.IT wasn't to bad.I was good until they wheeled them away and I started letting my mind wonder to all the horror stories about what could happen when they are put under.I just prayed really hard and that helped calm me.So, HOPEFULLY,we will have NO more infections!!!!!

So I don't check your website for a couple of days and I come back to dozens of pictures!! What's up with that? ;~) Glad to see the boys are doing well and that you got to spend some quality time with Matt and Charrie. Sorry we missed them. Miss you too. Love you, Julie
