I had a conversation with my son this morning in the car about salvation.
It was just adorable.
He asked me, " mommy, did Jesus die for Easter?"
I answered, " well, not FOR Easter, but ON Easter. He died FOR your sins.
So that you don't have to. And if you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord,
and believe in your heart, that he rose from the dead, you will be saved, that's what
the bible says! All you have to do is ask him into your heart."
He doesn't quite understand it yet, but it coming!:)
Aeva, on the other hand...
She piped in on this conversation and said, " I have YOU in my heart mommy.
And I have Allie in my heart!"
To which Mitchell replied, "NO, Aeva! You ask JESUS, not Allie!!"
Then Aeva says, "NO! Jesus is TOO BIG!!!"
HEHEHEHE!:) She a little young yet, to understand.:)

Really Sweet. ;) love it.. and you .. and them.
That is just too cute! was this while you were waiting for the girls, when you sent the video?! I can't wait for fun conversations like these with Emma!
I absolutely LOVE this!! They may not totally understand the concept...but Aeva knows that God is a BIG God and physically cannot fit inside her little heart! I love that! It's awesome to know that she is learning and understands how amazing and BIG our God is! ;) And Mitch...he's just adorable! I love "No Aeva, you ask JESUS into your heart, not Allie! :) LOL!! Fun times...fun conversations! What a blessing that they are asking those questions and that their little minds and hearts are thinking on Kingdom things! :) Love you my sis, you are doing a GREAT job at raising those kiddos and teaching them about our Savior! What a legacy...reminds me of the passage: Deuteronomy 6:7 "These commands I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses(or on your refridgerator! :) and on your gates." I know you would probably say, Oh, I haven't done as good of a job as I would have liked"...but remember as I will soon have to reminded, NO PARENT IS PERFECT!! And conversations like this with your kids are a testimony both to you and Tyson doing what this passage says and to God for working in your children's hearts, drawing them to himself! :) Praying that I will consistant as humanly possible to live out these truths and this passage as our little one comes into the world! Love you!
awww that is precious!! I love these types of conversations....and seeing little kids minds starting to "get it" as much as they can at their age. I miss those times with my preschoolers. Kids are smart...and when you talk to them at their level, they understand. A seed is planted and God does the rest! :) Your kids are great!! ;) Aeva cracks me up! <3 n miss you guys tons. SKYPE SOON! I miss people :::(
