The girls had a singing concert with their FAVORITE teacher, Mr. Balduc.
They both love music class and he is the reason why. He is such a great teacher and absolutely hilarious!:) the little kids( plus Allie)were being adorable and all were laying working on their computers. So cute!

this is what we have been working on for a while now. When I took this, we had paid off 2 of our bigger credit cards. But as of now, we have paid 4 cards and 1 hospital bill. I cannot tell you how liberating that is.
Tyson had been researching some of Dave Ramsey's plan prior to this and decided it was time to just do it. So, we are doing the snowball effect with our bills. The first thing on the list is to get an extra 200$ every month above and beyond your normal income. We used our tax return to pay off 300 dollars worth of monthly payments on cards, so we have done that step.
Then, you take that 200 and apply it PLUS the minimum payment to your lowest amount owed. So, say you have a credit card with a 300$ balance and the minimum payment is 15 dollars, you would pay 215 to that card. So, in less that 2 months, you would pay it completely off.
Then you would take that 200$ extra, plus the 15$ minimum payment and add it on to the next credit card, PLUS it's minimum payment...and so on.
Anyway, if that even makes sense to you..:) So, after we started doing this, Tyson's work announced they would be offering the Dave Ramsey classes for FREE. Tyson felt it was from the Lord, so he signed up for it.:)
And HERE is where my venting begins.( do not contiue readin if you don't want to hear it!:)
I KNOW these classes are good, and I KNOW he felt convicted to take them. I don't want to get in the way of the Lord working in his heart and life.
BUT:
When is TOO much, TOO much?
Here is a sample of this past week in my house.
Monday was farely normal, just running, cleaning , laundry(plus philemon laundry), cleaning the church and parenting. not much. HA
Tues: work-out, clean philemon, make lunch quickly, back to Philemon with the laundry I dried over lunch, picked up the girls at school early for dentist appointments, drive 30 mintues to and from the dentist, cleaning the church, dinner quickly, practice concert for cassie, bathing all kids.
Wednesday: Cleaned house , did more Philemon laundry from Tuesdays cleaning, running, cleaning the church, dinner and then wednesday night church, and mentoring after church.
Thursday: work-out, clean philemon AGAIN, MORE laundry, walking with the kids outside(it's FINALLY feeling a bit like spring!), picking up the girls from school, dance for Sam, Piano for Cassie, cleaning the church, dinner, skating party for the kids, and Dave Ramsey for us, finally home at 9pm.
Friday: Bathing all kids, cleaning up my own house FINALLY, doing MORE philemon laundry, grocery shopping, watching Allie, taking the kids outside again, running off to the pre-sale for used baby items for Charrie and Matt( and some for Emma too!:), making dinner, and actually spending some time with the kids in the evening since we dont clean the church on Friday's.
Saturday: Had to be at the church at 8 for our ladies day retreat( mom and I did music) Once that was over at 230, came home and cleaned house a bit, and then we took the kids to the park and ran the trails for 40 minutes. Came home, dinner and dishes, BED.
Sunday: at church at 8 for music practice, church, help teach S.S. for my small group of teen girls, home to make lunch, working at the used baby sale from 2-6, come home, make dinner, bonfire with the kids, all bathed, jammied, and bed.
SIT AND DO NOTHING.
I just read through my week. And it EXHAUSTS me, just reading it.
I'm tired. Tired of running her and there and back here again.
I want to be able to spend good, quality time with my kids,
to keep my house up, keep my laundry clean, keep a GOOD( not quick)
dinner on the table.
Those things cannot happen when your schedule is like this.
My family suffers for it.
My marriage suffers for it.
I suffer for it.
I'm feeling quite burnt out.
Probably because,as you may have noticed, spending time with the Lord isnt even on there.
So,
I've been evalutaing my schedule.
What can I give up? What can I take out? What can I change?
So, there's my vent. Pray for me.
I am in need of some wisdom Lord!

SISTER, dear, sweet sister. I am so sorry! I too am exhausted just reading about your week. I do not know how you keep up...well, by the grace of our wonderful Father!! I am absolutely going to pray for you in this area specifically. I know it doesn't seem that you can eliminate anything from your schedule, but just remember to lift it all up to the Lord each day! Also, I know you've shared you're a little like me in not being able to say no. I'm trying to learn to not say yes right away and ask if I can get back to the person, talk it over with Tyler, pray about it and be firm in saying no (when the answer is no) - I got that great advice from my mentor. RE: Dave Ramsey - AWESOME!! You guys are doing so great! And it's obviously helped you SO much already. You will feel less stressed once you get rid of your debt, BELIEVE ME!! You're showing to be great stewards and the Lord is obviously blessing your efforts in cutting down so quickly. amazing. Hope you're getting a second wind right now - praying for you!!
