Easter.
It was a different one this year. But good. My parents were OOT at my sister's meeting their newest grandbaby, which left us with no family in town.
But we went and spent the day with some friends who also have no family in town and had a nice relaxing day full of candy and good talks. and candy.
BUT, we know that the real meaning behind this day is Our Lily of the Valley, our bright and morning star, the fairest of ten thousand to our souls.
Me and the love of my life.. I seriously fall more in love with him everyday.
My beautiful little, well, not so little, boys.
My sweet precious little girls on Easter.
5 blessings in my life.
and now, on to some prayer requests... I wont share all the details, but Aeva's little sisters are currently in Foster care in Oregon. As it stands, if they are not allowed to go back with their mother, we will be getting a call. to which we will be answering, yes. There are a lot of things the Lord will have to work out, but we are fully trusting in him to work all things together for good.
Also, Tyson has a new job opportunity that I will share more about later. If you can just pray that we would trust in the Lord with all out hearts and lean NOT on our own understanding, to acknowledge HIM on all our ways, so He can direct our paths. We would covet your prayers.

I LOVE your empty tomb object lesson. So fun. :) That would be a fun thing to do with Cubbies. :)
Some year.
And the kids look adorable. I am thankful that you are intentional about teaching them truth. :)
It doesn't matter how many times we say Easter isn't about Candy or eggs...... it's about Jesus n Cubbies.. the very next week when we ask again, "What is Easter really about?" they still come up with the wrong answer.
awww you guys are awesome. As a teacher I LOVE your awesome visual object lesson. ;) So neat and cool that you and Tyson, together, teach your kids the truth!! Memorable moments! <3 you guys.
