Yesterday, i spent half my day running around indiana with my friend to track down the boys birthday gift. We had decided to give it to them early so they could enjoy it before their actual birthday. So, tyson rushed home after work so we could give it to them. We had them stand in front of the garage with their eyes shut while it opened...They both just smiled when they saw what it was! ( i REALLY love sam's face in the background!:)
complete with their own license plates.
SO happy to have a BOY bike. Up til now they had been riding around 2 girl bikes that sam and her friend outgrew. They didn't know they said "glamour girl" on the side..:) The boys did rip off the handlebar tassles...hehe. These are MUCH better!:)

they are 20in., a little big, but with it being the end(ish) of summer, and then they wont be riding them til next year, we figured we would get them a little bigger, to save us from buying another new one next year..however, it is taking them a while to figure out how to start going when they cannot hardly touch the ground.:)
they rode all afternoon, and again after dinner. Needless to say, after a day off school and riding bikes..they were pretty sleepy last night!:) I cannot believe they are 6 this saturday. It has been 6 years since i birthed a baby. CRAZY. I love you boys so much and can't wait to see where the Lord takes you in life!
Tyson and i were having lunch today ( with our 1 child :) and i had a thought. Placed in my mind, by the Lord. I have been struggling with life. I am tired of playing the "christian" game...I WANT my life to BLEED Christ. I want to live "on mission" ALL the time. I want to live the EXTREME.
I had been thinking about 3rd world countries..selling it all, and moving to minister to people. Quit chasing the "american dream". I dont want a huge house, and all sorts of beautiful things in it. I want to SERVE the Lord with everything I have. Give it all for the sake of Christ. But then I thought: I can do that, in my children. I can LIVE that for my children to see. I can raise them in such a way that touches hundreds of lives ALL over the world. Living Christ, through me, through them. Just think of how many lives can be impacted, all over the world, through 5,6,7,8 children, living THEIR lives EXTREMELY for the Lord. However that looks. That thought....both excites me and scares me stupid. LORD, give me wisdom, patience and a vision for what you have for our family...For me, to live is CHRIST.

oh my gosh! Love their bikes and reaction. How cool. I remember their pink bikes. They didn't seem to really care they were girl bikes cause they just enjoyed being able to ride....but now they have their own special bike. So cool. <3 the license plate!! You rock. HAPPY 6th to them! So glad I got to see them as wee little babes and now growing into wee little men! You and Tyson are doing an amazing job raising your 5 children. God is good! Hugs and love and miss you guys like crazy ALL the time!!
