HMMMMM.......

I just don't get it. Why do people suddenly decide they want to divorce? It really makes me so sad. Saying, "I love you, but I'm not "in love" with you", is just plan silly. LOVE is NOT a feeling. There are times when I don't feel anything close to love for Tyson.....BUT I CHOOSE to love him anyway. It is a choice. Why does our culture just throw aside the commitment they made so easily? Were they not being sincere when they made their vows to eachother? Marriage is WORK people!!!! It doesn't just happen. I am heartsick for the children involved in these situations. To say that children are resilient is ignorant. The choices you are making now will effect them forever! And your grandchildren, great~grandchildren..ect....

Lord~ help me. Help me to be a testimony to them in the midst of it all, help me to say the words you give me boldly and without shame.Help me to choose to love my husband everyday and show it in front of my kids so they can see that love is a choice. And most of all Lord, help them to CHOOSE to turn to you. Draw them into the relationship that their hearts are really longing for, a relationship with you, their heavenly father, who will never dissappoint them. AMEN!!
