I found my SHOES!!!:) They are a smidge higher than I wanted..ok ALOT higher, but the only purple shoes I could find in all of Fort Wayne!! I have been practicing wearing them at night for a 1/2 hour or so, hoping to stretch them out a little...sweat pants and a tee shirt look great with them.:)


Today was not one of my best parenting days. I woke up to a little person gettting into things she shouldn't first thing in the morning, which didn't set a very good tone to the day.
WHY,WHY,WHY do I lose my patience so easily? I do not like it when I let "ugly mommy" out!
I had to apologize several times to my kids and that stinks too!
I decided to start off reading James for my first non-FB week and boy-oh-boy. GOD, we gotta lotta work to do!

It starts off with these convicting words:

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.
James 1:19-20

OUCH.
well, I sorta FAILED that one today.

And then, to top that off...

James 1:22 says, Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves, DO WHAT IT SAYS!!!!!!!

Again..this hit home because guess what we studied in sunday school on sunday?

I read these very words at church and then went home and did the exact opposite.

BOO.

Thankfully, I have a God who forgives me when I confess and wipes my slate clean so I can try again tomorrow!:)
