Is this picture not one of SHEER joy? I love her face. This was our day in pictures...kinda.
What's missing is church, Bekah and Dana bringing the kids presents( thank you SO much for the light-up clapping hands!!!:) and lunch.:)

My baby and I.....and he smiled with his NEW tooth!!!!! He's been so used to trying to hide his half front tooth (that was dead and dis-colored) that I need to teach him how to smile with teeth now!:)

Th kids with the neighbors..we had fun building our first snowman....ever. How is it that we have lived her for nearly 10 years and we have never built a snowman? I don't know. Honestly.

But this snow was very packable. We also had a girls VS. boys snow fight.The girls won. Never mind that half of them were in tears from getting hit. oh my. That lasted about 45 minutes and they were all tired and cold... the thing that gets old with playing in the snow. We spend just as much time getting them ready to go out as they do actually playing in it. But Tyson and I had fun..we had a good snowball fight..I think when he tried to run down the slide and slipped and fell was one of the best laughs I have had, after I made sure he was okay, of course.:)

Then after dinner we made sugar cookies...let me tell you, this recipe is THE BEST EVER.

Puffy,thick and OH SO GOOD.I gave each of the kids their own rolled out dough and let them go to town..there was flour EVERYWHERE.

some of the cookies were paper thin, some so thick that they may still be gooey inside, but the kids had a blast and after I got over trying to make them all do it perfectly, i had fun too.:)

This is what I get left with....flour. in the cracks of every seat...on the walls, all over the cupboards, all over the floor, and all over the kids!!!!

But I think it will all be worth it when we go to our friends house tomorrow and let the kids make another mess with frosting.:)

Today was my last day on Facebook for a while. I (or SATAN) keep trying to justify why I should stay on, why I should spend 2 hours a day " catching up" on peoples lives( i'm not kidding) how the scripture I wrote on there were all some of my unsaved family had ever read...and while some of those things were good...my walk with the Lord, and frankly, my kids were suffering because of my inability to limit my time spent. I am purposing in front of you, my blogger buddies( all 4 of you!:) to spend those two hours saved in my day, spending time with my Savior and playing more with my kids. I am excited to see what changes God will make in my heart when I choose him FIRST, and also what changes will result in my relationship with my kids!

I have started reading " A woman after God's own heart" Some powerful and CONVICTING words in this book. I have a feeling my marriage will be changing as I spend more time with God and he shows me all the changes in MY attitude that need to take place.

So, no FB, but I have kept blogger just so I can have a outlet to talk about what I'm learning and to keep my far away family happy with pictures of my babies.:) But, I have also limited myself to only blogging when my children and husband are sleeping, so I don't lose time with anyone.

Well, I am going to join my sleeping man....Can't wait to see what God has in store for me...

it may be hard, it may be challenging, but it's HIS way and not mine..which is the BEST way to go..so I say...BRING IT ON.
