So,
Here was the menu for tonight's meal. I have to brag on my kids for a bit..... it is my blog!:)
On top of them being such great eaters, I am also going to tally the price of our meal for 7!
1. 8 filet of tilapia~5.99
2.1 package of broccoli~1.89
3.2 boxes angel hair pasta~1.78
4.1 large can of lite peaches 1.29
Now,obviously I would love to eat everything fresh but a budget for a family of 7 just doesn't always allow that...So, I do my best. Anyway, there were NO leftovers!!!
They ate everything!
We have started giving them smaller portions to cut down on waste and they ALL had 3 servings of everything...are you impressed? I AM!
And the total price of our meal~10.95!!!!! (of course I didn't add in the butter and milk I used so maybe 11.50?! Still....why would we EVER eat out??
