Starting the Christmas season!

Our family tradition is to go and cut down our tree the Saturday after Thankgiving...and this year was no different. After breakfast with the family Samantha threw-up twice. She said she felt fine after so we decided to go any way. Here we are starting out to find the perfect tree....
Thomas,Steph and J.T. came to find a tree too!

The daddies got to carry the 2 little ones...

We found it! Though slightly Charlie Brown-ish....it fits us!:)

Aeva just chillin in the back pack.

Cassie helping Tyson carry it to the check out.

Steph and I..isn't she adorable?

out tiny tree looks really tiny up on the van!:)

Sweet J. T.

Love that smile!

So, after spending all that time picking out the tree..we get into the van and Aeva gets sick!
Thankfully she waited until she wasn't on Tyson's back or it would have been ALL over him..instead it got all over her seat and all over me. In my hair and on my face and coat. GROSS!
It was so discusting yet I was laughing and so were all the other kids!:) Sometimes if you don't just laugh, you will cry ya know? I took a picture even tho' it's discusting, so that I have something to remind me that I can laugh even in the yuckiest of times!:)

And here is our tree all lite up and ready for Christmas!:) We have watched Alvin and the Chipmunks SEVERAL(oy!) times in the last few weeks.SO when we turned out the lights to see the tree all lite up Mitchell said very excitedly, "It's gonna be a great Christmas!" I think he's right!:)
I was really tempted to grumble and complain that we were getting the stomach flu, but my mind kept going back to Thanksgiving, and this thought kept popping into my mind " Thank-you Lord that my children only have the flu! That over-all they are healthy. A lady from Tyon's work went to Indy last week so that her 4 yr old son could have surgery to remove one of his eyes that had a tumor in it... Another family we know also has a duaghter who had a tumor in her eye and lost sight in it, or a friend who's baby died after only 11 minutes of life. We are so blessed we want to complain about a silly stomach flu???? God, forgive me for not giving thanks for the many blessings you have given us. Help me to always remember how blessed I am.
