This morning I had gotten the little kids in the van(in the nice snow-less garage my husband cleaned out) to go to the YMCA for my step class. I pushed the automatic door button to close the side door while I backed out of the driveway..which doesn't always latch.
Anyway, so it wasn't all the way closed and the lights were blinking on and off and the bell for having the door open was ringing off and on. Once I got to the end of the street at the stop sign, i jumped out, run around to the other side, pushed it closed with my hip and continued to run around back into my seat. ( i am in my workout clothes and its 17 degrees..i was booking it!:)
I put the van back in gear, and notice the little old lady that lives at the end of the street, is standing by her mailbox, staring at me( she is on the driver side, so she didn't see me bump the door shut) I smile and wave, as I drive by.
My neighbors think I'm crazy....which isn't to far off.:)
just gave me a giggle.

:) I wish I was your neighbor! I love sharing in part of your day. Miss you! Big hug. Skype date soon? Ms Emma loves to be sitting up and chatting!!
hahahaha I love your silliness. I've seen you do this several times in the snow/cold. You are cute and I miss you greatly. I agree....skype date soon too??? It feels so weird to be almost Christmas and not be with any Boyd/Burton family :( Plus its freaking hot here...so it never SEEMS like Christmas and I dont really have gifts to buy, but like you said in the above post, we have SOOOOOOOO much to be thankful for and it just helps to focus more on the true meaning of Christmas!!
<3 you Connie and Connie. Hugs and love you both your families during this Christmas season!! <3
