IT'S ME AGAIN, MARGARET!(hehehehehe)
In all seriousness.
Welcome to the new blog. I decided to give it a face lift.
What do you think? I love it.
Let me start this rediculously long post with TONs of pictures by saying,
GOD IS GOOD!!! Can I geta amen??
I have been doing a Beth Moore Study for the last 3 weeks, and I am in love
with her teaching style. She is speaking, straight from the Lord, to my ears.
There are so many things happening. So many things that feel uncertain.
BUT, my God is for me. He set me apart to do the good works he
prepared in advance for me to do. Like, before I was born.
Is that not a crazy thought?
Also, he put me on this earth, in this town, in this house, in this moment,
FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.
I stand in awe, of one so HOLY.
I stand amazed, before his MAJESTY.
And soon I find myself, no longer standing.
BUT BOWING DOWN.
On to more trivial things.
Here is our recent spring break vacation,
in a nut shell. :)
ENJOY!!
This picture was taken after 12 hours of driving.
The trip started off a little rocky, but ended really good.
My sweet friend Rachel had hard boiled eggs all ready for the kids to decorate.
MY children were clueless.
Sad huh? :)
They figured it out.
Samantha, of course, was SUPER serious about her eggs. :)
The finished product. So colorful!
The next day after attending Elevation Church and listening to an awesome sermon,
we drove 3 hours to Isle of Palms, SC.
Where we met Thomas and Steph and little J.T.
The kids were SOOOOOO excited!
Ready to head across the street, down the path, to the beach.<3
This is the first memory (for the 3 little kids) of the Ocean.
THEY LOVED IT!
The boys had such fun playing together!
Thomas and Steph watched the kids for us one morning so we headed out to explore SC a little and eat breakfast at a cute little diner.
Yep. The Sea Biscuit. Awesome.
We saw this while we were out and had to stop, just to say we had walked into a piggly wiggly. I loved that game....
Tyson's message in the sand to me while we were out walking, wasting time so my surprise could arrive back at the house..( Rachel and the kids came down for the last night at the beach house)
What he wrote: " The Ocean is but a tidepool, compared to my love for you"
sigh.
We headed right back with all the kids for our last full day of ocean.
Kaiya and my girls just love eachother.
He was meant to be a daddy...he is such a softy for babies! :)
Can she really be a tweener?? AHHH!
The beautiful sand "Castle" Tyson made for the competition we had. The very same "castle"
that ATE HIS WEDDING RING, never to be seen again.
Another SIGH..in a very sad way.
My one good framable picture of the beauty God created for us to enjoy.
It.Was. Breathtaking.
My big brotheer and his cute little family.
So, the next day we packed up all our stuff and headed to Charleston.
We were going to try to go to Fort Sumter, but decided to save the 70 bucks and go to
Fort Moultrie, which was 5 dollars and was there BEFORE Fort Sumter. :)
It was quite a neat thing to walk through.
Then we drove on to the city to walk through the Market.
It is a long narrow building that goes on and on for blocks.
When you get to the end, it is right by the port.
Where they brought all the slaves off from the boat.
And the Market was actually where they sold them.
And we have totally commercialized it.
It made me really sad.
The buildings downtown have really stayed true to how they used to be.
You won't find and sky scrapers..
SO perfect for pictures of my cute kids.
After that, we said our goodbyes to Thomas and Steph and J.T. and headed the 3 hours back to Charlotte.
The next day was my 32nd birthday. The kids all woke me up to "happy birthday to you"
and we ate breakfast, packed a lunch and headed for the mountains!
a 2 mile hike, up to the top! :)
Here's the little clan..they have no idea what's coming!:)
We are on our way!
And fast forward, we MADE IT! :) What a view!
Happy and tired after hiking 4 miles total.
The next day we packed up again and drove the 10 hour drive to Ohio for Caden's 1st birthday the next day.
He is about the cutest little thing I have ever seen.
Man, how I love this boy. I CANNOT believe he is already 1. Where did the time go?
We went to church the next day for Easter, and then drove the 4 hour drive home.
No flat tires, no issues witht he van whatsoever. It was a lovely time, with my
BEAUTIFUL family.
( I am wearing the hat my brother bought me at the market in Charelston. :)
Until next time.....
